I’m Graeme Seabrook, the Postpartum Mama. I created this site for parents to get the truth about the postpartum period.
First time parent looking for advice on the 4th trimester? Parent struggling through a maternal mental illness? Wondering when (or if) you’ll be healed enough to grow your family? That’s why we’re here!
I have been in each of those stages. I found so much advice on pregnancy and parenting, but almost none on the hospital stay and first days and weeks at home with baby. After struggling through postpartum depression and anxiety I began a search for the best advice and practices I could find. Once I’d healed we questioned whether or not to have a second child – and that process became the basis of my coaching philosophy.
Did you suffer from postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD or psychosis? Are you wondering whether or not to add to your family? Trying to decide if permanent birth control is right for you? Take my quiz to help you clarify your thinking.
